JWT acquires Wanda Digital in Turkey
Wanda Digital – which offers campaigns, social media, platform development and games and apps – was founded in 2006 and employs 80 people in Istanbul. It made revenue of $2.7 million for the year ended 31 December 2015 with gross assets of approximately $1.5m.
JWT made its first investment in the digital business in 2015.
WPP CEO, Sir Martin Sorrell said: “This further investment reflects WPP’s continuing commitment to Turkey and our confidence in the future prospects of this important economy.”
It follows yesterday’s news that JWT had bought the US digital agency iStrategyLabs.
