IPG Mediabrands makes Kumar data chief
Kumar (pictured) is currently global president of its digital ad-buying group Cadreon and he will remain in that role while taking on the new data remit. He will be responsible for developing and managing data and technology as well as the analytics infrastructure at Mediabrands.
He will report to Philippe Krakowsky who was made chairman of Mediabrands last year.
Michael Roth, chairman and CEO of Interpublic, said: “We’ve previously stated that Mediabrands is the place where we will further invest behind our already-considerable data and analytics capabilities, so as to develop a data stack and platform that can serve all of our agencies.”
