US – Interpublic Group’s global media business IPG Mediabrands has launched a dedicated life science healthcare division Healix offering data and analytics tools to the sector.

Jeffrey D. Erb will lead the division as he takes up the role of president, North America. Prior to joining IPG Mediabrands he was senior vice-president and managing director of Alliance Life Sciences.

Healix will support IPG Mediabrand’s healthcare clients with experts in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutraceuticals. Its data and proprietary analytics tools will help with insights and media planning strategies.

Its offices will be in New York and Princeton in the US along with affiliates in EMEA and APAC regions meaning it will be operating out of eight countries.
