Insights Career Network to become non-profit organisation

Founded in 2021 by a group of industry volunteers, ICN supports people in the insights, research and analytics fields through career transitions and development, and now has around 3,200 members.
Becoming a non-profit organisation will allow ICN to secure funding, enter new partnerships and make resources more accessible, it said.
Simon Chadwick, ICN’s incoming chair, said: “The insights industry is changing at a pace that we have never seen before. What sufficed before in terms of education, experience, and capabilities no longer does so. ICN can be the engine in this endeavour through being the source of support, knowledge and partnership right across the industry.”
The group will be led by an expanded team, with co-founder Brian Fowler taking up the role of executive director. He is joined by a governing board that includes chair Simon Chadwick, treasurer Jamie Jurgaitis and secretary Kahren Kersten.
The organisation, which is seeking partnerships and support, has formalised its strategy for 2026 and will focus on aligning events and resources to help members explore career paths, access curated training and engage in mentorship and peer support.
Melanie Solka, director at large, ICN, said: “Becoming a non-profit gives ICN the structure to scale what we already do well: build community, offer support, and help people grow.”
