Goodway Group sets up data analytics division

US – Digital ad services company Goodway Group has created a data science and analytics division led by Lluis Canet with Benjamin Diesbach reporting to him.

Canet (pictured) joins Goodway as vice-president of data science and analytics with Diesbach taking the position of lead data insights analyst. Canet will report to Huanlei Ni, vice-president of product, marketing and data.

Prior to Goodway, Canet has held senior data science and analytics-focused roles for 21st Century Fox, JP Morgan Chase and PulsePoint. Diesbach has more than a decade of experience working in advertising technology, having most recently been vice-president of analytics at Accordant Media.

The new division will work across Goodway’s departments to introduce advanced analytics and machine learning for its clients.

Jay Friedman, president of Goodway Group, said: “Empowering our clients with advanced analytics and insights is key to their long-term success. The new division will allow our clients to plan their campaigns more strategically by transforming their approach to data.”
