NETHERLANDS — SKO and GfK have announced that their television audience measurement (TAM) contract has been extended until 2017.
The extended contract will see innovations in metering technology and the measurement of programme viewings up to 28 days after initial broadcast.
“We are very pleased with the new contract,” said Liesbeth Nekkers, research director, TV and Radio at GfK in the Netherlands. “The world of television is fluctuating due to digitalisation and mobilisation of content and devices.
“The innovations in this contract allow us to measure new forms of viewing habits and include them in the current measurement.”
