US— British insight consultancy Truth has opened its first overseas office in New York.
The agency has hired innovation and brand strategy expert Gayle Moberg to head the US operation.
Moberg set up and ran Research International’s Fifteen20 innovation practice in London and New York and helped build it to a global operation. More recently she headed business development at Clear Ideas Limited’s US office, before setting up GDM Market Solutions.
Truth founder Andy Dexter said: “We are delighted to have a director of Gayle’s experience and calibre on board. We’ve already been doing a lot of work in the US, but that is only scratching the surface. Gayle’s own business connections and proven track record speak for themselves, and represent a great platform for growth.”
The agency said it is looking to hire quickly to build the New York team over the next few months.
The firm reported 31% growth for 2009, bringing turnover to more than £5 million.

Gayle Moberg is an extremely talented, focused and creative individual. As a previous contractor for Gayle, in a graphics and documentation capacity, I cannot express how incredibly thrilled I am for her and Truth!
