UK – Customer feedback technology firm TruRating has appointed Gareth Johns, formerly of Dunnhumby and Starcount Insights, as chief data officer.
Johns (pictured) held various positions at Dunnhumby for 19 years, most recently as global capability director, insight. For the last three years he has been chief data officer at data startup Starcount Insights.
TruRating’s software-as-a-service platform asks hospitality and retail customers to anonymously rate their experience through the payment terminal. The company was founded in 2013 and has collected 26m customer ratings across the UK, Canada, Australia and North America.
In his new role, Johns will lead the company’s work in data science, merchant product development and client services.
