Flurry raises $12.5m in new funding

US — Mobile analytics firm Flurry has revealed that it has raised $12.5m in new funding.

The amount was revealed in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, and confirmed by a Flurry spokesperson to technology news website TechCrunch.

According to TechCrunch, the company started as an app developer before shifting its focus to analytics and then using its data for advertising.

Flurry has recently won a number of high profile contracts to provide analytics for BlackBerry and Korea’s T Store.
