INDIA – Market research agency Factworks has opened an office in Bangalore, India, and promoted Medha Sarkar as chief executive officer for the new site.

Sarkar (pictured) has been a senior director at Factworks for almost five years, and has experience working in the US and India with senior companies.

As chief executive of the Indian office, Sarkar will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Factworks in the region.

The Bangalore office is Factworks’ third office, with other sites in Berlin and California.

Nadja Böhme, chief executive at Factworks’ Berlin office, said: “We decided to open an office in Bangalore, India because of the extraordinary talent in the region. Bangalore is the high-growth tech hub of India and one of the biggest innovation centres in all of Asia.

“With a presence in India, we will be better equipped to serve the needs of our clients in the tech and finance industries through strong collaboration opportunities with our Berlin headquarters and a comfortable overlap of time zones.”
