Environics partners with Exvisu to form Nexalogy Environics

M&A North America

CANADA— Research and analytics group Environics has partnered with the founders of social media monitoring agency Exvisu to create a new social media insight and analysis firm called Nexalogy Environics.

Exvisu has been folded into the new offering, which has received an undisclosed investment from Environics. Nexalogy is headed by Exvisu founder Claude Théoret as president, and he is supported by his former Exvisu partners Eric Steedman and Michael Boyle and the three other members of the Exvisu team.

Théoret said: “The information, insight and recommendations we provide are the highest-quality social media intelligence available on the market today. We combine advanced data mining techniques with rigorous human analysis that help clients make sense of the data and what to do next.”

Environics president Michael Adams (pictured) said: “Our newest member of the Environics family brings exciting new skills and insight to ensure that we can provide clients with a 360-degree perspective on consumer attitudes and behaviour.”
