Bosch signs up for Globalpark social media research tool

GERMANY— Electronics manufacturer Bosch is using Globalpark’s Social Insight Connect tool to engage with their fans on Facebook.

The firm is to set up a private community on its Facebook page, for discussing professional power tools. It will allow fans to provide feedback on their purchases, as well as test-driving new products before they are launched.

Christoph Buhlen, senior direct marketing manager at Bosch Power Tools, said the firm was using the Globalpark tool “to cast light into the darkness” surrounding its online fanbase.

The firm hopes the tool will allow it to “communicate on an equal footing with professional power tool users”.
