Birdie names directors
Chiba (pictured right) was previously at AB InBev and Kantar, and has focused on category management, brand and communications strategies and understanding consumer behaviour.
Hiranaka (pictured left) was previously global director of social intelligence and analytics at Ipsos, where she was responsible for implementing voice of the customer programmes for clients in around 20 markets.
In their new roles, Hiranaka and Chiba will help scale the company’s product insights tools based on the platform’s data, combining market research processes and methodologies with Birdie’s differentiated AI and natural language processing (NLP) technology.
Birdie, which is based in California, US, and was set up in 2018, uses AI and NLP to process consumer opinions from different public and private data sources, generating insights to support strategic decisions.
Patrícia Osorio, co-founder and chief revenue officer at Birdie, said: “We are happy to have both Cadu and Andrea join the Birdie team and for each to contribute to our overall mission in helping product managers be equipped with the most real-time data and insights to help create successful product launches and campaigns.”
