Aquila Insight rebrands and expands
Headquartered in Edinburgh, it currently employs more than 75 staff in the UK (it also has offices in London and Derby) and is expecting its headcount to double in the next 12 months.
Earlier this year it reported turnover had increased by more than 100% to £4.2 million for 2015/16, up from £1.9m in 2014/15.
Warwick Beresford-Jones (pictured, right), co-founder and managing partner of Aquila Insight, said: “We have big plans to expand further this year and we now have space to do it. The move, alongside the rebrand and our recent award wins, marks the start of an exciting new phase in Aquila Insight’s history.
“We are hiring at a rate of 12 analysts each quarter so it was only a matter of time before we outgrew our previous home. I’m delighted that we have been able to stay in CodeBase and continue to be part of such a thriving tech community.”
CodeBase is the UK’s largest technology incubator and one of the fastest growing in Europe.
Aquila Insight’s rebrand is based on its stellar namesake, the Aquila constellation, also known as the Eagle. The new logo illustrates the star formation as a series of dots and symbolises patterns identified in data.
