US - Automated marketed research technology company ZappiStore has expanded to Latin America (LatAm) with the appointment of Gabriel Velez as regional director.
Velez joins from System1, where he held the role of associate vice-president and regional director for the LatAm region. Other previous experience includes the role of regional account director at GfK.
Based in Miami, Florida, Velez will be responsible for the growth of the firm’s client and partner base in LatAm countries.
Julio Franco, ZappiStore’s vice-president for the Americas, described LatAm as an “innovative region with lower budgets” that is “a perfect fit for Zappi’s value proposition”.
Chief revenue officer Ryan Barry said: “We rely on our world-leading research providers to help us deliver insight faster, cheaper, and with proven tools that provide high quality." He added that Velez would “work to expand our partnerships in Latin America, to add solutions to our off-the-shelf tools”.
