US— Pollster Zogby International and 463 Communications have combined forces to launch a joint venture, Zogby463.
John Zogby, CEO of Zogby International, said the two firms had collaborated on various opinion research and strategic communications projects since 2005 – when 463 Communications was founded – for clients including the Technology CEO Council, Cisco, Symantec, Skype, Dell and IBM.
He said: “With this successful collaboration we have decided to establish a joint venture to better service clients through the synergy of Zogby’s reliable and cutting edge polling and 463’s industry-leading strategic planning and communications capabilities.”
Tom Galvin, CEO at 463 Communications, said: “At the heart of every successful strategy is insightful data. The foundation of Zogby463 is what we call evidence-based communications that guide strategy decisions and drive and define debate.”
The new firm debuted yesterday with the results of a survey of just over 3,000 US citizens into attitudes about technology and the economy, which found, among other things, that 83% of respondents thought a 10 year-old would know more about the internet than their Congressman.
