You & Mr Jones acquires Brazilian data business

US – Marketing technology group You & Mr Jones has acquired a majority stake in Latin American data company DP6.

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Founded in 2007, DP6 offers technology and data services, including data measurement, media attribution, data science and marketing analytics, for local and global brands.

The company is headquartered in São Paulo and is a partner of Google and Salesforce.

The acquisition expands the geographical footprint and data abilities of You & Mr Jones. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

You & Mr Jones has offices in São Paulo, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Panama City. The company’s data business 55, which it acquired in 2016, operates in Europe, North America and Asia.

David Jones, founder, You & Mr Jones, said: “In 55, we have one of the top global companies in the space and this move gives us the ability to further expand our global data capabilities in one of the world’s most important and fast-growing digital markets.”

Tiago Turini, co-founder and co-chief executive, DP6, added: “Brands are facing enormous pressure for transformation around data maturity and the DP6 team is more than happy to join You & Mr Jones and collaborate on always-growing, data-driven marketing projects around the globe.”
