UK — Media monitoring firm Fisheye Analytics has retained its contract with the World Economic Forum (WEF) to analyse social and traditional media discussion around the forum’s regional meetings and its annual flagship event in Davos.
Fisheye has worked for WEF for the past five years. The new contract will run for three years. Fisheye was acquired by Kantar Media in December 2013.
WEF employs monitoring tools – including Kantar Media’s ‘self-serve’ tool – to help it understand how well forum discussions are understood, how widely the core messages are communicated and which participants have been the most impactful. This analysis is used to generate reports, plan strategies and select sponsors for future events.
