Media monitoring firm Fisheye sold to Kantar

SINGAPORE — Media monitoring firm Fisheye Analytics is set to be acquired by WPP’s consumer insight business Kantar.

Kantar has agreed to buy the entire issued share capital of the company, which was founded in 2009 in Singapore and tracks both social and traditional media.

Once the deal is complete, Fisheye will become part of Kantar Media. The company is headed by CEO Ashwin Reddy, a former researcher at the INSEAD Business School.

Fisheye employs 14 people and has an R&D centre in Hyderabad. For the year ending 31 October 2013, Fisheye’s unaudited revenues were SGD 782,871 ($623,000 ), with gross assets of SGD 332,162 ($264,000 ).
