WFA appoints Pernod Ricard CMO as president

EUROPE — The World Federation of Advertisers has appointed Pernod Ricard group chief marketing officer Martin Riley as president.

Riley was voted in unanimously and replaces Chris Burgraeve, the former group CMO at AB InBev, who has held the post since 2010.

He has been CMO at Pernod Ricard since 2009, having joined in 1997, and will hold the presidency for two years with the option of extending for one additional year.

Riley said: “It’s a prestigious organization with a truly global footprint and I look forward to meeting the members and listening to and helping them address their priority issues.”
