Walr launches owned panels

UK – Data collection company Walr has expanded its Audiences sample provision tool to include proprietary panels to help provide researchers with access to verified audiences.

The company said that the launch of owned panels would include consumer communities from its Paid Perspectives function and specialist groups via Specialist Opinions, and were already available in some select markets.

Additional proprietary communities will be released in 2026, which the company said would include enriched profiling, new geographies and deeper respondent experience initiatives.

Walr Audiences uses owned communities, quality controls and partner sources to help provide researchers with samples.

Lewis Reeves, founder and chief executive at Walr, said: “Our industry’s supply chain is getting harder to manage, not easier. Researchers are under more pressure than ever, and they deserve a simpler, transparent way to reach the right people.

“Expanding our owned panels is a critical step in giving customers more control and more confidence – without adding more complexity.”
