W20 Group acquires data analytics firm Ravel

US— The W20 Group, an independent network of marketing, research, communications and development companies has acquired Texas-based data analytics firm Ravel.

Ravel’s data technology and staff will be absorbed into W20 Group, allowing the network to offer data-based insights to clients, according to a statement.

W2O president Bob Pearson (pictured) said: “Ravel will enhance our team’s ability to predict trends based on a combination of historical information and real-time insights so that our clients achieve advantages in the marketplace.”

Ravel co-founder and VP of engineering Steve Blackmon will take the role of director of data sciences at W20 as a result of the acquisition.
