SWEDEN— Volvo has launched a crowdsourcing project on Facebook called You Inside that it hopes will create new ideas for more personalised vehicles.
People who join the project on Facebook can submit photos of what they keep in their car and share information about their lifestyles.
Volvo will analyse the data and provide a personality profile to participants. By learning more about its customers and their cars, Volvo says, it hopes the project “will inspire new innovations”.
