Upinion creates market research messaging app
The company said the software allows companies to ask their customers direct questions and receive answers instantly as part of an ongoing mobile conversation, and is especially useful as direct feedback for start-ups.
Mo Ouass, co-founder of Upinion, said: “We’re calling time on the survey. People are used to apps like WhatsApp, so building a messaging tool for insights and research was only logical.”
Upinion was founded by Ouass and Gerben Kuipers, who built the app with a team of 15 developers. The company used the app to gain feedback on the app itself, and worked on the product in collaboration with universities, researchers and pilot-clients such as Discovery, SNS Bank and Domino’s.
