Trufflenet launches health division

UK— Social media research and analysis agency Trufflenet has launched a new specialist healthcare division, Trufflenet Health, which will be led by Janet Gunner.

Gunner (pictured) first joined the company last December after working as a freelance researcher and interviewer and associate partner at Medical Marketing Research Group.

The firm said that the new division was launched on the back of client demand and will offer a mixture of social media monitoring, semantic analysis and human appraisal to help deliver actionable insight to customers.

Trufflenet founder and chairman Nigel Clarke said: “Having served on a healthcare regulatory council, I am acutely aware of the need for public health bodies, pharmaceutical companies and regulators to listen to and learn from patients, care-givers and healthcare professionals. With the global explosion in social networking, the opportunities to do this are greater than ever.”
