SRUS is a continuous face-to-face survey with a representative sample of drivers on strategic roads in England and will replace the current National Road User Satisfaction Survey (NRUSS).

The tender will cover an initial fieldwork period of 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019, with a possible one-year extension. During this time, SRUS will run in parallel with the existing NRUSS, replacing it on 1 April 2020 with the onset of the next Road Investment Period.

Transport Focus is the independent public body set up by parliament to represent the interests of train passengers in Britain; England’s bus, coach and tram passengers outside of London; and users of motorways and major ‘A’ roads in England, known as the Strategic Road Network (SRN).

The deadline for tender responses is 12 December 2017. Interviews will be held on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 December. To register an interest in bidding email Tenders@transportfocus.org.uk.
