Thomas Cook gives Hoban new insight director role

UK— Thomas Cook UK & Ireland has appointed former Confused.com marketer Mike Hoban to the new position of director of marketing, brand and customer insight.

Hoban, who will join Thomas Cook on 1 October, will be based at the firm’s Peterborough headquarters and will be responsible for all marketing of Thomas Cook’s brands as well as the company’s customer insight and research.

Thomas Cook’s UK CEO for mainstream Ian Ailles said: “Mike has a strong reputation in his field, having a proven track record of helping companies build and revitalise strong brands and deliver commercial growth through best-practice marketing.”
