Sinha was previously Ogilvy & Mather’s chief knowledge officer for China and cultural insights director for Asia Pacific and will now lead the Chinese office. In his chairman role he will work closely with Stephane Alpern, managing director for Asia-Pacific to develop the company’s business in the region. An Asia-Pacific expert, Sinha has more than 10 years experience in China and 25 years experience across the region as a whole.

Will Galgey, global CEO of The Futures Company said: “We have been working with clients in China for a number of years from our Singapore and global offices. We’ll now be able to better support those clients and develop new client relationships.”

Sinha said: “The timing for the launch in China is absolutely right. Growth has slowed, competition has intensified, there is greater scrutiny of corporations from people and the government alike, and power has shifted to the consumer. It is really hard for business leaders to find the answers to their greatest challenges.”
