TA Associates buys stake in Fractal Analytics
The private equity company said that Fractal was one of the most respected players globally in the big data space and, with revenues almost tripling in two years, was an ideal company with which to partner.
TA Associates managing director Kenneth Schiciano will join the board of directors at Fractal following the $25m investment.
He said: “Fractal has a top notch team of data scientists and world-class analytics solutions that continue to create tremendous business impact for leading Fortune 500 companies. We are delighted to back the company in its mission to institutionalise data driven decision-making in corporations, and anticipate a very mutually beneficial relationship.”
