UAE— Synovate has appointed Clayton Buckley as its new managing director for the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Buckley (pictured) joins from drinks company Aujan Industries in Dubai where he oversaw research, brand marketing, product development and finance. Previously he managed the juice and beverage portfolio at Almarai in Saudi Arabia.
In his new role Buckley will be responsible for overseeing and expanding Synovate’s activities in the three markets, as well as being “actively involved” in client work.
Kurt Thompson, Synovate’s CEO for Central/Eastern Europe and the Middle East said: “I’m excited to welcome Clayton to Synovate. His international marketing and brand background, coupled with his vast business and management experience, will be a tremendous asset to our clients’ businesses in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Iran.”
