Synovate appoints healthcare chief for Thailand

THAILAND— Jocelyn Phinijarom has been appointed head of healthcare research at Synovate in Thailand, with a focus on developing the firm’s ethical and consumer healthcare business.

Phinijarom (pictured) has spent 25 years in the industry, and was previously a consultant with research agency Slingshot. She was also previously responsible for opening a Thai office for research agency Cram International.

In her new role, Phinijarom will report to Gareth Phillips, Synovate’s head of healthcare for South Asia. Phillips said: “Jocelyn has a varied and extensive market research background which we know our local clients and internal regional teams will benefit from greatly. I look forward to working with her over the coming months to rejuvenate our healthcare business in Thailand.”
