Spinnakr launches with near $1m funding
Spinnakr has launched out of its closed beta testing following funding from Andreessen Horowitz, 500 Startups, Point Nine Capital and Sand Hill Angels.
The platform is aimed at automating data through its ‘insight engines’ tracking events though importance then alerting the web publisher via a feed.
Speaking to TechCrunch, Spinnakr founder Adam Bonnifield said: “There’s always been this assumption that you need to ask a human being to sit between the customer of the data and the data itself, and do all this analysis on it to understand it. So we thought, what if we tried to build a system that would just automate all that analysis?”
