Simpplr raises $70m in Series D funding
The funding will be used to invest in Simpplr’s future growth and development of its employee experience platform, and brings the total amount raised by the company to date to more than $131m.
Additional investors included Tola Capital and Salesforce Ventures, and Jai Das, president and partner at Sapphire Ventures, will join Simpplr’s board of directors upon closure of the latest funding round.
Simpplr has also made several executive hires, including Tim Lambert as chief revenue officer, Bala Kasiviswanathan as chief product and customer experience officer, Parag Kulkarni as chief technology officer, Aykut Firat as chief data scientist and Paige Leidig as chief marketing officer.
