Sharcc Group takes majority ownership of several insight companies

The move will create a collective of specialist businesses across insight, data science, analytics, sports consultancy and strategic advisory services.
Investor Ant Randle, chief financial officer at Potentia, has founded the parent group.
Potentia was launched in 2023 by former Alligator Digital directors Suzy Hassan and Colin Clifford, and later that year bought analytics agency SigDiff. Last year, the company acquired DataTree Connexions and partnered with former F1 insight leader Matt Roberts to launch sports consultancy arm Potentia Sports.
The Sharcc Group will bring together Potentia and its sister companies with fieldwork and data collection business InsightX and research agency Pegasus Insight.
InsightX was established in 2023 by Diego Correa, while former BDRC executive Mark Long founded Pegasus the same year.
The companies within Sharcc Group will continue to operate independently and retain client confidentiality and specialist focus. The businesses will work together on integrated approaches across the wider group where relevant.
The current leaders of the businesses will continue in their existing positions.
Director Ant Randle said: “Sharcc Group brings together specialist businesses with complementary expertise and a shared commitment to high-quality client service. Clients benefit from broader capabilities delivered through a collaborative, agile model that adapts to changing needs and complex challenges.
“Each business retains its independence and specialist focus, while the group structure enables greater flexibility, efficiency and a more unified service offering.”
Randle added that the holding company would offer “wider capabilities” and “responsive delivery”.
