US – Data collection and research services company Schlesinger Group has developed a qualitative technology to allow researchers to conduct in-facility research online.
The service, ‘Moderate Anywhere’, can be used to host focus groups with respondents in Schlesinger Group’s network of US research facilities, while streaming live two-way video to the moderator.
Clients using the tool can join research sessions via a ‘backroom’ feature and share feedback at the time.
Isaac Rogers, chief innovation officer, Schlesinger Group, said: “We recognised the need for researchers to continue critical in-person projects, but travel restrictions are making this challenging.
“We’ve developed a method to allow real-time up-close streaming of a focus group experience to a moderator and research team located anywhere in the world.”
The company said it is waiving its fees for the tool until 31st July 2021.
