Schlesinger appoints Berger to lead global quantitative strategy
Berger (pictured) joins Schlesinger from Maru/Blue where, as managing director, he led its global sample and data services business line. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at Vision Critical (now Alida) and Ipsos.
With 25 years’ research experience in online sampling and insight communities, Berger will lead Schlesinger’s global quantitative strategy, including developing its proprietary panels and leading its team of survey programmers, data scientists, and project managers.
Steve Schlesinger, chief executive at Schlesinger Group, said: “We have invested in programmatic solutions to quickly connect our clients to high-quality global audiences for bolder decisions in the marketplace. Welcoming a leader of Rob’s calibre is pivotal at this time as we build on this success, expand our reach, and provide even more choice for our clients with new research technology to be announced next month.”
Berger sits on the board of CRIC (Canadian Research Insights Council) and is Canada’s co-representative of Esomar. He previously served as the chairman of the board of SampleCon, a leading consortium of online sample/data firms with the stated aim of changing how the industry thinks about accessing high-quality, engaged respondents.
