UK – Consumer insight consultancy BVA BDRC has made several promotions across the group, including the appointment of Paul Russell as managing director of its data collection specialist Perspective Research Services.
Russell (pictured) rejoined Perspective as operations director in early 2020, after spending three years at Epinion Research. He was previously at Perspective for seven years.
As managing director, he will oversee company strategy and policy across all field services including CATI, face-to-face, qual, mystery shopping, data processing and data analysis.
Russell succeeds Ivor Stocker, who previously held the role of MD temporarily.
BVA BDRC has made 13 promotions in total across its research, marketing and design functions.
The company has promoted Natalie Eaton and Thomas Dodds to associate director, with Tahmina Khatun, Alexandra Morar, Henry Clinton, Harrison Sommerville, James Bright and Freddie Reeves promoted to manager positions.
Additionally, Alice Wells, Oliver Canning, Kate Allen and Sarah Condon have been promoted to senior executive and executive roles.
Crispian Tarrant, chief executive of BVA BDRC, said: “In spite of the challenges over the last nine months or so it has been most pleasing to see colleagues developing their careers and capabilities, and in many cases, assuming new responsibilities.”
BDRC was acquired by French research and consulting group BVA in 2018. BDRC group businesses include BDRC, ESA Retail, Alligator and Viewpoint.
