BVA acquires Doxa
BVA has adopted a two-pronged acquisition strategy – diversifying into new businesses in France such as design, new technologies and communication while extending its international presence. The Doxa purchase follows BVA’s acquisitions of UK-based BDRC in June 2018.
Based in Milan, Doxa was founded in 1946, with revenues of €24 million and more than 140 employees.
BVA Group CEO, Pascal Gaudin (pictured), said: “For us, Doxa was an obvious choice. As well as the natural synergy between our expertise, we recognise ourselves in Doxa’s values, for example in its constant quest for innovation, entrepreneurial spirit and human dimension.”
BVA and Doxa have collaborated within WIN – The Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research – a global network of more than 50 independent market research and polling companies.
Doxa chairwoman, Marina Salamon, added: “This merger with BVA will enable us to acquire new skills and conquer new markets and is consistent with our past development. We are fortunate to be joining a group that is very different from the other multinational companies operating in this market.”
The BVA Group generates revenues of almost €200 million, has 1,000 employees and is present in over 12 countries in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
