FRANCE – Following the acquisition of PRS In Vivo’s US business by Alcentra, research and consulting firm BVA Group has appointed Karen Gombault and Olivier Blanchet as chief executives of PRS In Vivo worldwide.
Gombault joined PRS In Vivo as managing director of Europe in 2020. Based in Paris, she has 25 years of experience in market research, with a focus on FMCG, at Research International, Synovate and Ipsos.
Blanchet has been with the company since 1998, firstly in the UK and then in France as managing director. He later joined the American team as vice-president of innovation and forecasting before returning to Europe as managing director of France and Italy.
Gombault and Blanchet will manage the operational teams worldwide.
BVA Group’s main shareholder was given approval to acquire the company by the French appeals court earlier this month, after being in receivership.
PRS In Vivo USA has split from the rest of PRS In Vivo, rebranding as Behaviorally, after receiving a majority investment from asset management group Alcentra.
PRS In Vivo Europe and Asia remain part of BVA Group. PRS in Vivo has offices in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, China, Singapore and the UK.
BVA Group also operates BVA, BVA Nudge Unit and Hubicus.
Alain Sivan, managing director, BVA Group, said: "2021 marks a new stage in the deployment of our PRS In Vivo expertise in a market undergoing rapid transformation. Karen and Olivier are for us the best experts in their field and have all the qualities to support the development of PRS In Vivo in Europe and Asia. We are very happy with their new role to drive us forward and thus better serve our customers around the world."
