UK – Global behavioural science consultancy BVA Nudge Unit has opened its UK office.
The move expands the company’s network, which includes France, the US, Latin America and Singapore.
It follows parent company BVA Group’s acquisition of BDRC in June 2018. Last month, the company also bought Italian market research business Doxa.
The UK office will be led by former PRS In Vivo chief executive Scott Young (pictured), who was appointed as senior vice-president at parent company BVA Group in January.
Richard Chataway, Koen Smets and Ted Utoft have also been appointed as consultants.
Chataway, founder of Communication Science Group, was previously head of Ogilvy Change and is a board member of the Association for Business Psychology.
Organisational change consultant Smets is advising BVA Nudge Unit globally.
Utoft was previously senior qualitative business director at PRS In Vivo.
BVA Nudge Unit specialises in behavioural change strategies for customer experience, workplace change management and digital communication, with a focus on the retail, FMCG, transport, tourism and financial services sectors.
Young said: “There’s a great deal of interest in applying behavioural science to business challenges. And our team has proven success in helping clients to change the behaviour of their customers and employees.”
