US – Digital marketing company Razorfish has promoted Sisi Zhang to chief data and analytics officer and appointed Matt Lefever as chief operating officer.
Zhang (pictured) has worked at Razorfish for 12 years, leading a team of around 150 data professionals, and was previously head of data science and analytics.
In her new role, as part of the executive team, Zhang will continue to lead data-driven offers, put in place standardisation processes and bolster data instrumentation.
Dani Mariano, president of Razorfish, said: “Sisi exemplifies what it means to be a leader and an innovator. During a time when brands are looking for new ways to implement and simplify processes or looking for expertise around the impact of AI and automation, we could not think of someone more deserving to shepherd our growing data and analytics capabilities.”
Lefever rejoins the company from natural language processing company Tellic. He previously began his career with Sapient, which later merged with Razorfish under owner Publicis Groupe.
Josh Campo, chief executive at Razorfish, said: “Matt is coming back with an incredible amount of exposure to company growth cycles that mirror what we envision for Razorfish, and his breadth and depth of experience will be greatly beneficial in the next phase of our organisation. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be an instrumental partner and adviser to this team as we scale for the future.”
