UK— Bob Qureshi has left Market Strategies International to set up his own agency, with his old employer as one of its first clients.
Qureshi joined Market Strategies last year to set up its first European office in London. He told Research that the company had now established “key relationships” in Europe, and that his new consultancy, Qureshi Market Research, will continue to support MSI on some European projects.
“My time with Market Strategies was immensely rewarding and they are a great firm to work for,” said Qureshi. “I was incredibly pleased that Market Strategies supported my desire to branch out and work with companies in other sectors looking to develop a foothold in Europe.”
Representatives of Market Strategies were not available at the time of publication to confirm detaills of the future of the firm’s in-house presence in Europe.
Qureshi Market Research also has a joint venture with Dialsmith, which produces the dials used to record instant responses to stimuli in focus groups and events. Dialsmith started life as part of Market Strategies and was spun off last year.
Before joining Market Strategies, Qureshi ran another agency, Qureshi Marketing and Research, which was bought by Masmi in 2003.
