Quantcast names chief product officer

US – Audience insight and analytics company Quantcast has appointed Sam Barnett to the newly created role of chief product officer.

Formerly chief executive of ad personalisation platform Struq, Barnett (pictured) joined Quantcast when it acquired the company in 2014. Most recently, he has held the role of senior vice-president for the company’s Measure division.

In the new role, he will oversee the development of Quantcast’s product portfolio, driving product vision and strategy across its Advertise and Measure businesses.

Based in San Francisco, he will report to chief executive Konrad Feldman. His appointment follows that of Meredith Long as chief revenue officer and Rob Horler as chief operating officer.

Feldman said: “Sam brings a strong entrepreneurial spirit with the proven experience to lead a dynamic global product organisation. He has done an exceptional job introducing important new products and growing our Measure division.”
