Ari Levenfeld joins as chief privacy officer (CPO) and Guinevere Jobson (pictured) as senior corporate counsel. Both will be based in Quantcast’s San Francisco headquarters and report to chief legal officer, Michael Blum.

Levenfeld was previously CPO at Sizmek and has also worked at Rocket Fuel (before it was bought by Sizmek) and IAC. In his new role, he will be responsible for Quantcast’s global privacy strategy, regulatory compliance and advise on risk management.

Jobson joins Quantcast from Fenwick & West, a Silicon Valley law firm focused on the technology sector.

Blum said: “Quantcast’s mission is to build the audience platform to radically simplify advertising on the open internet. In order to realise this mission, we need to successfully navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment. This starts with ensuring we uphold our very high standards of data privacy and protection for consumers.”
