Part of the company’s executive leadership team, Horler (pictured) will be responsible for the leadership of global commercial operations, including the sales and services organisation. Based in New York, he will report to chief executive and founder Konrad Feldman. He also joins the company’s board of directors.

Horler stepped down from Dentsu in summer 2017. Prior to becoming Dentsu Aegis US chief executive in 2015, he was chief executive of Dentsu Aegis Network Northern Europe and Aegis Media UK. In 2004, he founded Difiiniti, now part of iProspect. He originally joined the Dentsu Aegis Network as managing partner for Carat Interactive in 2000.

Feldman said Horler “deeply understands how technology has been disrupting marketing and the growth challenges facing brands”, and praised his “wealth of hands-on experience advising clients, managing large scale global organisations and developing talent and teams”.
