Pureprofile adds AI coding
The coding, powered by Nexxt Intelligence’s AI coding tool Inca, will allow researchers to edit and refine insights from open-ended responses, at a greater scale and more quickly than manual coding.
The tool uses natural language processing (NLP) to uncover key themes and sort responses into categories. Users can apply their own codeframe or have the system generate one.
It complements Pureprofile’s existing AI coding offer, which the company said best suits clients with predefined codeframes, while the Inca-based platform is more suited to those who want greater flexibility to review and adjust codeframes as they go along.
Lorraine Yeung, head of global operations, Pureprofile (pictured), said: “Open-ended responses are highly valuable in research, but they’ve historically been the hardest to work with.”
Yeung added that the addition of AI coding would “replace bottlenecks with breakthroughs” and help teams “move from raw verbatims to real insight”.
