PRS In Vivo hires Ng to develop Asia market

US – Global shopper and consumer insights consultancy PRS In Vivo has appointed Melvin Ng as senior director of market development in Asia.

Previously head of China at PRS In Vivo, Ng rejoins the company after spending a year as managing director at Asia Insight. He has also held client servicing roles at Kantar Millward Brown, Kantar Consulting and Synovate.

Alex Hunt, chief executive at PRS In Vivo, said: "Melvin is extremely knowledgeable in the growth of omni-channel retail and the drivers of influence in consumer choice, specifically in China. His expertise brings insight to our global clients, as well as local brands, who want to sell their products in the region, as China becomes an early adopter of innovative shopper marketing techniques.

"We couldn’t be more pleased to have Melvin rejoin in an active market development, client service and thought leadership role."

Based in Shanghai, Ng will support all teams in the region. Headquartered in Teaneck, New Jersey, PRS In Vivo has two Asia offices in Shanghai and Singapore.
