Potloc bets on agentic AI

CANADA – Quantitative research business Potloc has rebuilt its research platform around agentic AI.

Potloc said that more than 85% of tasks on the platform are now run by either AI agents or automated workflows, with the remainder either set to switch to AI in 2027 or remain human-led by design.

The company said it hoped an AI-first approach would speed up processes, while retaining human oversight and expertise, as well as verified human respondents.

Potloc is an agentic quantitative research platform that works with consulting and private equity firms, and which has offices in London, Paris, New York and Montreal.

Rodolphe Barrere, chief executive at Potloc, said: “AI models have already extracted the world’s public knowledge. The next frontier is private knowledge, which lives in people’s heads: real-life experiences, brand perceptions, shifting opinions, buying intent.

“Accessing private knowledge has always been limited by the labour required to conduct research. However, by making every step of quantitative research agentic, Potloc is facilitating access to this knowledge.”
