Porter Novelli launches media monitoring system

US — Public relations company Porter Novelli has launched a cross-media monitoring system.

PN Sonar measures conversations taking place about brands or organisations across print, broadcast and digital media.

CEO Karen van Bergen said: “PN Sonar is quite unique in the marketplace in that we are capturing and analysing the totality of the dialogue happening across all traditional and social media, and using both our own team and machine-based processing to drill down to the heart of the conversation.”
