Perspective to merge with Continental Direct
Continental Direct was the field arm of Continental Research, which was acquired by Perspective’s owner BDRC in 2008 and went on to become BDRC Continental.
The Perspective/Continental Direct merger becomes official on 1 October. The merged business will be led by Perspective founder and managing director Richard Sheldrake.
Prior to the merger Perspective’s focus was on telephone and online data collection. Continental Direct adds a viewing facility and CATI centre in Holborn, and a 900-strong UK face-to-face field force.
Sheldrake said there have been no staff redundancies as a result of the merger. Perspective was acquired by BDRC in June 2007.
